For well over a quarter century, Stanley Yim and Associates, Inc. (SYA) has provided civil and sanitary engineering services to Federal, State, and City agencies as well as private developers, bankers, property managers, owners of private property, and numerous other clients needing the services of an engineering consultant.

SYA engineering services include developing the design, investigations, preparing full construction documents, cost analysis, engineering reports, and other support activities. SYA Civil services are for all infrastructure design, site grading, cadastral computations, etc. for new developments (subdivisions, planned unit development, condominiums, apartments, hotels, etc), utility infrastructure (drain, sewer, and water systems), roads and parking lots, parks, etc. These services are also available for existing projects needing repairs and/or rehabilitation. Old water systems and roads are typical infrastructure needing replacement or augmenting. Water, sewer and drain systems are typical infrastructure needing repairs and rehabilitation.

SYA Sanitary services are for the design of or for the repairs and/or rehabilitation of sewage treatment facilities ranging from municipal plants to packaged sewage treatment plants, septic tanks, disposal fields, and temporary holding tank facilities. Design of the collection systems for these facilities would be by the SYA Civil services.

Site conditions for SYA projects over the years have ranged from mountainous terrain to flood plains to coastal areas giving the firm a wide range of design experience under various topographic conditions. This experience and expertise is available to clients for their projects.

SYA's engineering services may be extended to include the construction phase of work. Services for site observations, progress reports during construction, and construction pay request certifications are available.
